The UTC is relocating its guild site! We're now over at GuildLaunch! (Sorry WoWstead, it was prettier.) We will still accept applications and such through here, for those who are already signed up on WoWstead and don't want to go through the hassle of another site, but everyone else, please head over to the new site!

Thanks to all who attended and participated in the pet show and auction, it was a lot of fun. We'll definitely have to do it again sometime soon--once I get a bunch more fabulous pets, and have better ideas for prizes!

Also, a big welcome to all of the new recruits! Please familiarize yourself with our rules (see the forums on the left), and don't be afraid to ask questions!

Welcome to the Underground Trading Co.!

The UTC is an organization dedicated to supporting our local craftsman, providing useful materials for reasonable prices (well, by comparison anyway, we need money too), and undermining the inflated auction house. The auction house is ruining our businesses! How is someone supposed to support their family with their craft, when the materials are costing them more than they’re making? We’re also bringing in goods to help our local adventurers. Need a little extra something to make you more powerful? No problem! We’re also recruiting for the Pretty Soldiers. They’re our special brand of security, and they answer to the UTC. They will help to keep the peace at events, as well as offer their services wherever else needed. Don’t let the name fool you though, these soldiers are tough as sugar-coated nails!

The Underground Trading Co. and the Pretty Soldiers are both brand new and currently hiring. What are we looking for exactly? Well, anyone, really, as long as they’re willing to work for the company!

Underground Trading Co.:  We’re looking for people to gather materials, cloths, herbs, minerals, skins, booze, etc., as well as those who can make items to help our consumers, and help to smuggle in goods from the Alliance . As the organization increases its size, as well as its resources, I’d like to start holding monthly/bimonthly markets to sell our goods to our crafters and consumers, as well as take jobs inbetween markets from those who need a little help getting what they need.

Pretty Soldiers:  We’re looking for those who are tough, yet still fairly light-hearted and friendly, those who will keep watch at events, help out the lower levels with questing and dungeons, and deal with those who betray the company. PvP experience also a plus, but not required. We will also rent out our soldiers for a small fee.

If you wish to join, there are a few different things that you can do:

1. Fill out an application on here.

2. Send an in-game (IC) letter to Lafianna and ask to set up a meeting.

3. Contact a member of the UTC or PS and ask to set up a meeting. (Feel free to /join UTC for some guild contact)

3. If your character is acquainted with someone already in the UTC or PS, ask your acquaintance to set up a meeting. Your acquaintance must be present at said meeting.

Some IC contact is required to get into the guild, be it either via the application, or face to face with an officer (aka a meeting). We just want to get a feel of your character before letting you in.
